I could easily have taken another week in gorgeous Greece, but I’m not back – tanner and more energize than I’ve been since what feels like forever.

Above is the outfit I wore at the christening, which was very different from what I know, but I guess it’s traditional Greek. I’m happy I got to attend a Greek christening and Baby Margieta was the cutest little girl.

Things I Can’t Do

Hey, everyone got something they can’t do. You’re not alone, so I thought I would share some of the things that I can’t do, with you. The list could go on, so I’ve decided to post a few things. What can’t you do or can you do some of the things I can’t?

  1. I can’t say the word “Certificate” nor in Danish. I can’t pronounce Three or tree, they both sound the same. And apparently pronouncing a word beginning with w is difficult too.
  2. I can’t dance and I feel so uncomfortable and awkward on a dance floor. I can’t even follow a choreography. My mum always told me “Look Sara, you don’t own a rhythm in your body, so you should probably not become a dancer” – she mean it in the best way possible. So on a night out you would probably find me by the bar.
  3. Wear white clothing. I do try and I do buy white clothes, but straight after I put the item on, I spill coffee, juice, wine or something else that’s impossible to get off.
  4. Walk with out falling over. I’m such a clumps and I even tried stumbling over a leaf once. I know 😉
  5. I can’t wink. If I do wink, I look like I’m having a stroke. Nor can I whistle, believe me I’ve practiced for hours and the only thing that comes out of my mouth is air.
  6. Find my way around. I would probably get lost in my own pocket without trying. Despite following a sat-nav I’ll still get lost.
  7. I can’t remember more than two or three sentences in a song. Well I mean I think I can, but my boyfriend always say I sing something similar but not quite the words.

Have a lovely weekend xx

Would Love To Wear // Heeled boots

I’ve shown you healed leather boots quite often, but I do think they’re a necessity in any girls wardrobe, even if you’re quite tall like me and don’t need that extra height. It just does something to any outfit. These boots are especially cool because of the gold look detail on the heel. I would wear this outfit any day!

What do you think is essential for any wardrobe?

About Appreciating The Little Things

We all do it, we all think forward to that holiday, weddings, promotion at work instead of focusing on the little things in life. That’s not what life’s about, is it ? I think we’re often to quick to focusing on the bad things but for me life isn’t always about the bad things or only the big events coming up, because if you spend every day on thinking about that big thing coming up, you don’t truly appreciate what you have. Life is not worth anything, if you don’t live it!

1. Okay this isn’t as creepy as it sounds, I promise 🙂 But I love sitting at a bench in a park, by the river or in a cafe and just watch people as they pass you as they live their lives. How wonderful is it, that we’re all completely different? I think it’s absolutely amazing.  Especially watching  children playing and laughing together, it just reminds me of all the joy in the world.

2. Letting my phone die. In this time of day, we’re so attached to technology. I think it’s a shame. We should spend the time together with friends and love ones instead.

2. Listening to a song you’ve completely forgotten existed and regain your love for it.

3. Morning cuddles with B.  I absolutely love waking up and appreciating another day together. It’s not often we get to wake up together and just enjoy each others company, but I need to go back in bed for 5 minutes before leaving to go to work each morning. I mean for me it’s just a success getting up in the early hours of the morning.

4. Catching up with your best friend, whom you haven’t seen for a while. Or just chatting with your mum over the phone. My mum and I have made a pact to talk once a week, as time flies to quickly when you’re in different countries.

5. A sunny day! It just lightens up your mood, sitting catching the warmth of the sun on your skin. Enjoy nature.

What are your favourite little things in life ?

How About We Wear What We Want

wear what you want

Wear what ever you like, don’t follow the unwritten rules. If you once heard stripes wont work if they’re horizontal or you can’t wear pink because you’re ginger, but you like it. Go for it! If you want to wear a neon bright leggings or a prom dress, do it, if that’s where you feel comfortable and that’s what you like to wear. That’s where you’ll shine!

I think it happens way to often, that the fashion world says that you can’t do that, don’t wear that, this will make you look short etc. Heck I know I might be a little bigger than the average and I shouldn’t wear anything to tight. But you know what? I don’t care. My friend ones said if you got it, flaunt it – that’s what I intend to do and I’ll wear exactly what I want, if I think it suits me I’ll be comfortable = Happy me. I want every single woman and man out there to be able to put on whatever  they feel like and wear it with confidence. Because it makes them feel good. Because when you wear that dress you feel like you can take on the world. Because those flats make you feel a like a million bucks.

I think we way to often measure us self from the eyes of others instead of measuring our happiness and the brightness of our smiles. I think most people generally think that if other people like me, maybe I’ll start feeling more confident. I believe it’s the other way around, if people see a happy smiley girl who is happy being her then the rest will follow – I mean I know it’s difficult and well.. It took me 22 years, but we’ll all get there eventually.
