Never Have I Ever..

We all know this game from school, but it’s been pretty long since you last gotten one of those personal posts. So here you go, here’s a few of the things I’ve never done.. There’s most probably loads more.

giphy

… Seen Star Wars, Breaking Bad or Stranger Things. I’ve never been good at things being hyped up, which I definitely think these shows has. It sort of has the opposite effect on me and therefor I don’t think I’ll ever watch them either. I’m not good with Sci-Fi either.

… Snapped my fingers. No matter how hard I try, the sound just wont follow.

… Been arrested. Okay that might be on the verge to extreme, let me try it the other way around. I’ve never done anything that I could be arrested for. I’ve always been known as the goody goody.

… Been to America, Asia, Australia – You know.. Basically haven’t been out of Europe.

… Ran more than 10 km in a row. I used to be quite the runner, but since moving to London I never really found the motivation to do so nor the right running path – any suggestions? I really want to beat those 10 km, but one step at the time right? Back in shape first.

… Donated blood, but I’m planning on doing so in the nearest future.

… Seen a lighthouse. It’s a strange thing, wanting to see a lighthouse but nonetheless it’s pretty high on my bucket list.

… Drunken Captain Morgan. I mean not since the last time I drank it and my mum had to pick me up from our student party, where I was sleeping at the principals office. I have never drunken Captain Morgan since then. Probably never will 🙂

… Been great at directions. Or geography to be honest.

What have you never done ?

Sparkles, velvet dreams and silk. New Years Eve is just around the corner.

We’re only just over halfway to Christmas Eve and we already have to think about New Years Eve. Whether you’re hosting the party, you’re going out in town or celebrating with your girls, it’s about time to get that New Years Eve outfit sorted.

I always find it difficult to figure out what to wear to the many Christmas parties in December, yet alone my NYE outfit, and I quite often spend hours finding the right outfit for that event.

NYE

ǀOne Sleeved Satin Top* ǀ Coated Skinny Jeans* ǀ HoopsClutchHeels* ǀ

ǀ Sequin Slip Dress* ǀ Turtle Neck* ǀ Sock Boots* ǀ Shoulder Bag* ǀ

NYE2

ǀ Velvet Jumpsuit* ǀ Clutch* ǀ Velvet Stilettos

Therefore, if it so happens that some of you girls might face the same challenges as me, I’ve put together a few awesome outfits to inspire you. I’m quite hooked on all the items and most definitely not mind wearing any of the outfits above. Do you have a favourite amongst the outfits?

I’m Looking Forward To # Christmas Edition

I don’t really get in to the Christmas spirit before after my birthday (middle of November) and without sounding like the Grinch I actually get sick and tired of Christmas if it starts to early. This year I decided to look at the Christmas decorations around – which has been up since October (WHAT?!) – as Winter decorations instead. So this year it’s a little different, I’m excited for Christmas and truly do believe it’s a wonderful time of the year –  and I wouldn’t mind the odd Christmas song once in a while 😉

Each year I hope for a white Christmas and in Denmark it can happen, so I keep on hoping but in the mean time, there’s other things to look forward too – to be exact 5 of them:

Spending time with my love ones. Our Christmas is a bit different this year as all of my siblings are scattered by the four winds and won’t be spending Christmas eve together this year. For me Christmas is about spending time with the people you love, that’s what it’s all about. Christmas is a party for the hearts a Danish saying goes and I must admit I agree.

Trying to get rid of that cold with hot chocolate or mulled wine. Trust me, that’s the best way to get rid of that cold at Christmas time + you get to drink the seasons best drinks – Hot Chocolate warms the soul and this is the very best season for it.

Receiving presents and seeing your loved ones face when they unwrap theirs. The holidays shouldn’t be about the presents, but we all secretly love getting them. How can anyone not look forward to unwrapping a gift and being surprised or seeing how happy your loved one looks whilst unwrapping theirs?

Hygge and snuggling up with someone, just because. It’s cold outside, and this is the season to warm up to someone. There is no better time to snuggle up with someone in front of the TV watching Home alone for the 11008242 time, with some hot chocolate.

Visiting Christmas markets. There’s just something magical about going to a Christmas market, the atmosphere is just spot on. My favourite in London is Winter Wonderland, where you proper get into the spirit. I’m dreaming of going to a German Christmas market, although that might have to wait until next year.

Any thing you think is missing from the list ?

If your party doesn’t involve a Christmas Jumper, like mine on Friday, then why not treat yourself to a new dress ? Because there’s never any excuse to not buy that dress, and if you can’t find any, then I’ve found some for you above. You’re welcome 🙂

My favourite is number 2 (drool emoji), but also 1, 5, 6 and 10 and, and and :p

Pink Wednesday, I’m still feeling it – the big question what do you think? Pink Wedneday go or no go? The stats are definitely showing you are feeling them, as OWWWP and OOTD post are way more popular than others – so I’ll keep going – because to be fair, pink will always be flawless 🙂

I woke up laughing this morning, because I dreamt that I had become a comedian (Contrary to popular beliefs, I’m not THAT funny) on stage I told a hilarious joke and now, yeah, now I don’t remember what the joke was. So I thought what better way to find pink items for #PinkWednesday by showing you some of the items I’m dreaming of at the moment. What’s on your Pink bucket list?

Just a quick check in, as I don’t want to spend too much of my Birthday online. My Mum and Stepdad are visiting this weekend and will be staying until tomorrow.  We had such a lovely weekend so far, just enjoying each others family. Today my boyfriend will be joining us and we’ll be going to a Birthday dinner tonight at CAU St. Katerines. Has anyone been? It’s supposed to have lovely food and a beautiful view.

I’ll leave you to it, but first I thought I would share some of the items on my birthday wishlist with you. I actually don’t have many wishes this year, as my phone got stolen and a few weeks after my laptop broke down – so on the top of the list is money for that – but here is a few:

fødselsdag

  1. Leather Look Leggings* – 2. One Sleeved Satin Top* – 3. Glitter Chelsea Boots* 4. Aviator suedette Jacket* – 5. Maxi Wrap Dress*

Within the next few days I’ll post about what I actually got. Have a sunny day! xx

Lately #3

Geez Louise (Yeah I don’t know why I’ve started saying that) I haven’t done one of these in ages, guess we have a lot of catching up to do 🙂

Lately I have been:

1. Having dinner in Yurt Cafe London for the amazing chefs behind KiwiandRoos very first Supper club – The venue and food was amazing – we got multiple dishes including booze, starters and dessert. Yum!

2. Celebrated B’s birthday. We’re normally going big on the celebrations like when we had our anniversary – but B doesn’t like celebrating his birthday, so instead we did exactly what he wanted and went to get his favourite meal –  Pie and Mash  – and saw Kingsman “The Golden Circle” in Genesis Cinema in Whitechapel – to those who haven’t been to Genesis yet, it’s worth a try if you’re looking for something cheaper but don’t want to downgrade your standards – they have pretty cool art and stuff too. Oh and I can totally recommend the movie too 🙂

4. Saturday we went to do Zip lining with Zip World London and I was a bit disappointed to be honest. Haven tried Go Ape I hoped for a bit more than just a 2 second ride – It was so much fun though! I absolutely love doing crazy adventurous stuff, like when I went indoor skydiving – granted.. Maybe not as crazy and adventurous as proper skydiving but you get the point..

5. Followed by a lovely Brunch at The Fire Station Waterloo and a walk by the River Thames.

What have you guys been up to lately?
