Outfit // Greek Christening

I could easily have taken another week in gorgeous Greece, but I’m not back – tanner and more energize than I’ve been since what feels like forever.

Above is the outfit I wore at the christening, which was very different from what I know, but I guess it’s traditional Greek. I’m happy I got to attend a Greek christening and Baby Margieta was the cutest little girl.

10 Things I Wanna Do In June

Scr. Pinterest

I can’t believe we’re half way through the year! Where has this year gone?

See the Queens Birthday Parade.

Go to a rooftop bar.

Go to West End live at Trafalgar Square. Who doesn’t enjoy all the musical songs? Best of all, it’s free! 🙂

Drink ciders in the park with great company.

Go to the gym every second day. I’m still battling with my weight loss but I’m slowly getting there and it stays off! 🙂

Find a new house.

Find summer outfits to bring on my holiday to Greece in July. I’m going with some girl friends and we will be attending a christening too, but I got no idea what to wear. Any idea what to wear for a christening in Greece ?

Sit on my terrace and listening to the festivities going on at Field Day.

Catch a glimps of the World Naked Bike Ride.

Go to one of Londons many markets on my weekends off.

Get To Know Me

I thought it was about time, you got to know a few more, slightly quirky and useless facts about me. I hope you’ll enjoy and feel free to comment some random facts about yourself – I would love to get to know you to 🙂

I hate Nutella. I know it’s weird, because I normally have a very sweat tooth, but I just can’t get Nutella in my mouth. Please tell me I’m not the only one?

I can’t do a cartwheel. I don’t know whether it’s my arms being to weak or my bum holding me down – gravity you know 😉 However I have hyper-mobile joints, which means I can take me leg up behind my neck.

I want to travel the world.

When I was a child every one thought I was a boy, as I always climbed threes, came home muddy and always hang out with the boys instead of playing with my barbie dolls.

I love snow but I hate the cold.

I woke up in a row boat once after a night out – The boat was safely on dry land – and next to me was a pile of vomit and a half eaten hot dog. Charming huh! But on the bright side I’ve only had a hangover once in my life, that wasn’t the day.

I would love to live on a riverboat for a summer.

I’m a sucker for horror movies and my friends and boyfriend think I’m insane for watching them alone, but I mean.. They don’t wanna watch them with me.

I believe in true love. And I like romance – but not in movies.

I have an extra bone in my left foot. Apparently 10% of people in Denmark is born with it and it mainly affects girls.

I’m nearly 5’9 but I’m the shortest of my siblings and parents. Viking genes I guess.

I’m ambidextrous.

I like looking at the ocean and staying at the beach, but you’ll never see me go into the water. I’m scared of probably all the things in it, it’s not because of the water but because of fish and other creatures in it.

If you ask me something, I’ll tell the truth even though the answer wont always be popular.

I love the smell of rain on a warm summer day and I always get the urge to go out and dance bare footed in the rain on those days.

I’m still a kid at heart.

My favourite number is 9.

I talk too fast when I get super excited or nervous. I turn red really easily too.

I’m mostly optimistic.

I have a scar on my chin. Which I got first when I was 3 years old falling chin down on a crate, I went to hospital to get i glued. But luck has it I hurt the exact same spot when I was 5 or 6, whilst playing Horse (you know this weird game were one person is horse and one person is the owner..) Well this boy pulled me hair because I didn’t want to crawl down to steps of stairs and I fell.. again chin down, and got stitches this time.

My dad wanted to name me Caroline.

Check my Depop account (@saraskyttegaard) out on Sunday, if you don’t wanna miss a good bargain 😉 Are you up to anything exciting?

Lately #2

pheew what a busy time, here’s what I’ve been up to lately:
17841835_10212472834473059_1221806693_n1: Celebrated our anniversary with a cheeky pizza and movie in bed. It was perfect without being just a normal day, and we had a lot planned for the following weekend. My boyfriend surprised me with a cheeky message in the pizza box from The Lauriston Pub.

2. More celebration in Thorpe Park. We had so so much fun. I especially enjoyed Stealth, Derren Browns Ghost Train and  Colossus. It’s definitively not the last time we’re going! 🙂 Have you been? Which ride is your favourite ?

3. Lovely walks along Regents Canal. I live just across the road from Regents Canal and I’m so happy I do. Last Saturday I had nice looong (20km) walk by Regents Canal. Got to see the sunset and a nice proposal.

17837700_10212472833153026_1324040456_o4. To celebrate our anniversary B and I went to Mercure Tunbridge Hotel to go to their spa and just enjoy yourself. We couldn’t resist trying out room service, we love going out but all we wanted was to watch a movie in bed with amazing food – so natural that’s what we did 😉

Tuesday Tip // 2

If you haven’t tried Danish pastries, from a Danish bakery you’re missing out. From Truffle Balls to Ryebread to Strawberry Tarts.. You name it. But you’re in luck, because Ole&SteenUK just opened in London, and you can indulge in all sort of tasty treats! The staff is friendly and the kettle is always on, so you can easily sneak in and hide from the winter winds and warm yourself up and chat over a coup-a.

Instead of a night out, the girls and I decided to sneak in for cheeky cake in the nice locals on 56 Haymarket. Last time, just after the opening, I went for the Truffle Balls which were absolutely amazing. This time I decided to try out the Strawberry Tart, which was like eating a piece of heaven. The Strawberries was sweet an savory and the vanilla cream light.

They also serves brunches which I definitely need to try.

Bon appétit! 🙂
