10 Things In March

  1. Go Bingo. Your probably thinking “Ya alright Grandma?!” am I right? But look at this and tell me it isn’t going to be fun?
  2. Having a massive “cheat” weekend in Denmark, with my family and my boyfriend. We’re talking loads of food, sweets, cookies, swim in the pool, walk on the beach and just a massive amount of hygge. Can’t wait. Until then though, I probably should stay away from anything unhealthy :p
  3. Eat a massive Hotdog when we arrive at the airport in Denmark. Traditions you know! if it wasn’t for the Hotdog, which I absolutely need to have, I would have done Meatless March. I don’t eat much meat in generally anyways, but would be fun to try and to experiment with new recipes.
  4. Speaking of recipes one of my goals for 2018 is to experiment and learn a new dish a month. This months dish will be Chicken & spring green bun cha.. I promise to do my best not to give anyone food poisoning 🙂
  5. Go watch the St. Patrick Days Parade, dress in green and have a few pints!
  6. Watch the Head of the River Race! Cheer on.. Actually I don’t know who cheer on 🙂
  7. Oh and how cool would a brunch here be?
  8. To be in the Dog House or not to be in the Dog House. Until March 30th you can go cuddle dogs and have a cuppa at Shoreditch Dog House.
  9. Eat Easter Eggs whilst reading this months book “The Little Black Book”.
  10. But best of all! Celebrating our anniversary with my love ❤ You might remember what we did last year!

What do you have of exciting plans for March? You might realized that there isn’t any shopping wishes on here. That’s because I’ve decided not to shop any more until I lost 5 kg.

Apologies for the horrendous Photoshop skills – I am going to take a course because this legit looks like something a 6 year old could have done 😛 However I’m loving the french vibes going on in the street styling at the moment and my go, on the french style, would definitely be the above – and I personally think the pink sass it up! What do you reckon?

The calendar says February – the last month before it hopefully goes towards warmer and brighter times. It’s the shortest month of the year and when it’s all over, it’s officially spring! The excitement and the joy of the spring coming soon creates optimism and the winter is not far from being over.

  1. Go gym. This one might be obvious but I was slacking off a bit last week, so it’s back to going 4 times a week again.
  2. Order room service. I bloody love a room service and I’m hoping we’ll order breakfast to the room on our trip on Valentines Day.
  3. Treat my self to one of these..
  4. Go to a pub quiz. My boyfriend and I have been talking about it for ages! Can any one recommend any good ones?
  5. Eat a well known thing, that doesn’t normally get deep fried, deep fried. I can’t tell you what as it will give away where we’re going. But I’ll keep you posted!
  6. Eat pancakes for International Pancake Day on February 13th. Because have there ever been a better excuse to eat pancakes, than this? 🙂
  7. Buy some new trainers. I cheated and bought them in the end of January instead. I bought these* and they’re amazing!
  8. As one of my goals was to read a book a month, naturally this months book should be on this list. So this month I’ll be reading:  “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck” – by Mark Manson.
  9. Buy spring flowers!
  10. I’ve spent January organizing my closet and filling up a few bag of clothes, shoes, bags etc. February is the month were I’ll pull my self together and go donate the items to charity.

Okay, that was a lot of food on my list this month. And not the healthy kind! But it is cheat day once in a while so we’ll see if it get around to doing all of these foods. I hope so! Can anyone guess what thing that isn’t deep fried normally, but is deep fried? Have you set any plans of things you want to do in February? Please feel free to share them with the rest of us in the comment session if you have any good ideas 🙂

Never Have I Ever..

We all know this game from school, but it’s been pretty long since you last gotten one of those personal posts. So here you go, here’s a few of the things I’ve never done.. There’s most probably loads more.

giphy

… Seen Star Wars, Breaking Bad or Stranger Things. I’ve never been good at things being hyped up, which I definitely think these shows has. It sort of has the opposite effect on me and therefor I don’t think I’ll ever watch them either. I’m not good with Sci-Fi either.

… Snapped my fingers. No matter how hard I try, the sound just wont follow.

… Been arrested. Okay that might be on the verge to extreme, let me try it the other way around. I’ve never done anything that I could be arrested for. I’ve always been known as the goody goody.

… Been to America, Asia, Australia – You know.. Basically haven’t been out of Europe.

… Ran more than 10 km in a row. I used to be quite the runner, but since moving to London I never really found the motivation to do so nor the right running path – any suggestions? I really want to beat those 10 km, but one step at the time right? Back in shape first.

… Donated blood, but I’m planning on doing so in the nearest future.

… Seen a lighthouse. It’s a strange thing, wanting to see a lighthouse but nonetheless it’s pretty high on my bucket list.

… Drunken Captain Morgan. I mean not since the last time I drank it and my mum had to pick me up from our student party, where I was sleeping at the principals office. I have never drunken Captain Morgan since then. Probably never will 🙂

… Been great at directions. Or geography to be honest.

What have you never done ?

Sparkles, velvet dreams and silk. New Years Eve is just around the corner.

We’re only just over halfway to Christmas Eve and we already have to think about New Years Eve. Whether you’re hosting the party, you’re going out in town or celebrating with your girls, it’s about time to get that New Years Eve outfit sorted.

I always find it difficult to figure out what to wear to the many Christmas parties in December, yet alone my NYE outfit, and I quite often spend hours finding the right outfit for that event.

NYE

ǀ Sequin Slip Dress* ǀ Turtle Neck* ǀ Sock Boots* ǀ Shoulder Bag* ǀ

NYE2

ǀ Velvet Jumpsuit* ǀ Clutch* ǀ Velvet Stilettos

Therefore, if it so happens that some of you girls might face the same challenges as me, I’ve put together a few awesome outfits to inspire you. I’m quite hooked on all the items and most definitely not mind wearing any of the outfits above. Do you have a favourite amongst the outfits?

I’m Looking Forward To # Christmas Edition

I don’t really get in to the Christmas spirit before after my birthday (middle of November) and without sounding like the Grinch I actually get sick and tired of Christmas if it starts to early. This year I decided to look at the Christmas decorations around – which has been up since October (WHAT?!) – as Winter decorations instead. So this year it’s a little different, I’m excited for Christmas and truly do believe it’s a wonderful time of the year –  and I wouldn’t mind the odd Christmas song once in a while 😉

Each year I hope for a white Christmas and in Denmark it can happen, so I keep on hoping but in the mean time, there’s other things to look forward too – to be exact 5 of them:

giphy1

Spending time with my love ones. Our Christmas is a bit different this year as all of my siblings are scattered by the four winds and won’t be spending Christmas eve together this year. For me Christmas is about spending time with the people you love, that’s what it’s all about. Christmas is a party for the hearts a Danish saying goes and I must admit I agree.

Trying to get rid of that cold with hot chocolate or mulled wine. Trust me, that’s the best way to get rid of that cold at Christmas time + you get to drink the seasons best drinks – Hot Chocolate warms the soul and this is the very best season for it.

Receiving presents and seeing your loved ones face when they unwrap theirs. The holidays shouldn’t be about the presents, but we all secretly love getting them. How can anyone not look forward to unwrapping a gift and being surprised or seeing how happy your loved one looks whilst unwrapping theirs?

Hygge and snuggling up with someone, just because. It’s cold outside, and this is the season to warm up to someone. There is no better time to snuggle up with someone in front of the TV watching Home alone for the 11008242 time, with some hot chocolate.

Visiting Christmas markets. There’s just something magical about going to a Christmas market, the atmosphere is just spot on. My favourite in London is Winter Wonderland, where you proper get into the spirit. I’m dreaming of going to a German Christmas market, although that might have to wait until next year.

Any thing you think is missing from the list ?
